Rich History, Modern Wearability.

A classic suit in Houndstooth but updated with a sheer black blouse with white collar and a black colloar on the suit. The small but subtle changes updated the print and make it wearable for the ultra modern woman

Houndstooth This print needs no introduction, it has reinvented and reintroduced itself for generations . For the woman in the public eye this is a "classic" wear to work essential and a must for the many public engagements that you have this season. I suggest to my clientele that in the right silhouette, size and print this is an extremely photogenic accent to your winter collection this season. There are so many ways to update this awesome style, which I share below . I hope that you have fun around town and in your travels this winter wearing such a sumptuous and luxurious print which I happen to love for you . Houndstooth also known as "shepherd's check" is a wonderful historic tartan print originating from the shepherds of Scotland. Later on the upper classes of Scotland adopted the print as well as the Duke of Windsor for his everyday wardrobe. This print subsequently was reinvented by Christian Dior in the late 1940's and Geoffrey Beene in the 1960's. For my clients I suggest that you pair these items together for a wonderful energetic look that will give you added confidence and presence at the events that you will attend this season. If not in a full jacket, trouser or dress , wearing the houndstooth print in an accessory such as a scarf would also be a great addition for your wardrobe.
